Weight Before Workout : 75.6 kg
Weight After Workout  : didn’t work out today huhuhuhu
My muscles hurt after yesterday. not to mention i promised adeline i’d go for the free flow at the re-launch of TSB. So cannot FFK lah. Only had cocktails though. Less calories than beer. skipped dinner too. then went to watch "The Kesatria Gelap" *BM subtitles…..honest to god* at Signature GSC.

Fucking good show weih. Heath Ledger makes a damn good joker. Too bad he isnt around to do another sequel. Bless his soul. I hope Two-Face don’t die, so he can come back in the future as well. I want batman’s car. I was just reading somewhere online, that u can actually get a driveable replica, armor plating and all, but sets u back like USD 2.5 million or something like that.

So far this year….. good movies……Iron Man and Batman. Not bad eh ?

Tomorrow continue workout. but gotta stay away from the arms, lower body only tomorrow…… saturday going to shooting range :) can’t jeopardize my arms, coz i want to beat adeline who kononnya is the sharpest amongst all of us :P

I looked at my naked body in the mirror and I was absolutely mortified.

I am fat. There, I said it. 1st step is admitting it.

I am so disappointed at what my previously toned and chiseled body has become.

A sad comparison to what I was before. I am now nothing but shapeless fat.

Hence, I have started…….Project Piu-Piu !!!! *cue Doraemon sound effects*

I will undergo a weight-loss regiment to lose some fat, build some muscle and gain back some self dignity.

Project Piu-Piu commences today, 23rd July 2008, and will end 22nd September 2008.

Weighed in at an average of 75.6 kg’s

May Project Piu-Piu be successful. I will keep this blog updated regularly if possible on my progress.

I give myself 2 months from this date, to get fit, trim and taekwondo competition ready.

Target weight by 2 months is 65.6 kg’s. If it’s lower, it’s a bonus !

* if you have a better name for this project, please do let me know :) *

Back from Tenggol Island. Damn good trip. 8 of us went. We left on Friday 1130pm. Only took around 4 hours to reach Dungun. We thought it was going to take 6 hours. so we ended up arriving damn early. but the good thing is that we were able to have breakfast at McDonalds at 4am :)

So we slept in the car while waiting for time to pass. We got to the Rajawali jetty at around 830am. Got to the island by 945am. 1st dive was at 11:50am. Slight problem was our rooms weren’t ready yet, so we just geared up and left our bags.

Tenggol island is such a beautiful untouched place. Not many tourists. Clean. Untouched reefs. At our first dive point, we didn’t get to see too much. Alot of nudibranchs. 2 Barracudda’s. Plenty of soft coral.

I’m malas wanna tell all the 6 dive locations we went to, so I’m just gonna tell u what i saw. My friend has pix somewhere, i’ll post them on FB. Nudibranch. Eagle Ray. Barracuda. Giant Grouper. Crown of Thorns. Angel Shrimp. Clown Sweetlip. Spotted Ray. Moray Eel. Motherfucking huge jelly fish the size of a 32 inch LCD TV. A not so motherfucking huge jelly fish the size of a 24 inch TV. Hawksbill Turtle. Green Turtle. And a few others la. I need to look my log book to remember everything. Malas lah nak ambik.

So we were diving under the guide of 2 divemasters. 1 was Roland, who works at the diveshop there. And the other is my friend who came along with us. Really good fun. The resort we stayed at is Tenggol Island Resort i THINK. i forgot also. It’s run by this dude called Zul. Nice chap. His son, has like gone for dunno how many hundreds of dives and he’s only 12. Been diving since 7 years of age. We were all like… walauuuuuu.

Anyways, so from the 8 of us, only 6 were divers. The other 2 went for the Discover Scuba course just to see how it’s like to dive. Hopefully they get hooked :)

So how did we spend our nights ? Saturday night, we mostly talked and exchanged stories. I KO’ed early, was so tired. Sunday night, we spent talking all night long on the beach, 8 of us, under attack from ants, sandflies and mosquitos. We all slept on the beach, under the stars and a full moon. Damn cold and damn nice. Eventually everyone slowly moved back upstairs coz we didn’t have anymore blood to donate to the wildlife and we had 1 last dive the next day.

All in all, i had one of the most enjoyable trips. Out of the 8 people who went, i only knew one personally. But i walked away from the trip with more friends.

This year there are a few more dive trips to Manado, Sipadan and Pulau Wey. But I’ve got to pass them up :( Too many priorities/mile stones to complete before i can think of another dive trip. Maybe next year :) So if any of you are interested please let me know :)

You know you’ve had a damn good time, when all your problems that run in your head, are absent for a full 3 days. Now back to KL………..

Wouldn’t it be great if i could do this every weekend ? *sigh*

Last night had a mini mid week drink. We had to postpone Wednesday as some fellers were unavailable.

Went of to WIP. Very small midweeks, as most of us were to the level of spending coins :P hahahah

only had like 2 guiness and 1 beer. see. small amounts. but it was ok la. the company was good.

Anyways, I’ll be headed off to Tenggol Island tonight with 4 other divers. Tenggol is supposed to be one of the best diving sites in Peninsular Malaysia. *i need a refresher course since i haven’t dived i while*

Wish me a safe and pleasant dive ! Hopefully one of us has a camera !

*btw, pix from rainforest are on Facebook*

Did you guys watch the debate between Anwar Vs Shabery ?

What do u think ?

Anwar is a damn good speaker. Shabery must have shat bricks before he went for the debate.

Both speakers had their valid points. Although at some points the debate became very petty with each side taking cheap shots at the other.

I think there’s no clear cut winner, but i really like how Anwar speaks and puts his thoughts out in words. He’s a sharp minded feller. And not doubt i would like to give him a chance to reform this country and see if it’s for the better. honestly, it is a risk i am willing to take. he is afterall, the lesser of 2 evils.

YAY !

I iz back from Kuching. I had a wonderful time. Had a few KL friends down so I was the official tour guide.

We stayed at this place called Nomad Bed and Breakfast, at Jalan Green Hill. Damn cool place. Got some fantastic ppl working there. All we’re so friendly and helpful. And all were Iban except 1.
So anyways, some of us arrived on Thursday. I myself and a friend landed on Thursday morning. Walked around my neigbourhood to cari makan and have a look around at my area :)

That night 4 others arrived. In true Sarawakian fashion, we started drinking after everyone finished unpacking.

Next morning we met up with my brother from another mother to eat laksa. from laksa we headed to town and walked around. Took the sampan across the river *everyone who goes to kuching needs to do this*.

Walked down the waterfront. Walked and skodenged souverniers and "souveniers" along the Main Bazaar.

Walk around town being the tourists that we were. Take pix here and there. Walked back and got ready for the Rainforest World Music Festival being held at Sarawak Cultural Village.

Unfortunately, the night was raining like hell. and there was a jam, so the bus couldn’t get to the entrance. So we made a run for it…..or rather a slow walk. we figured, screw it, we were going to get wet anyway. When we got in, the wind was blowing like crazy, and mind u we were all soaked from head to toe, and we were freezing ! So we bought 1 of those plastic ponchos to protect ourselves from the biting wind. So we walked around the venue. Looked at food to eat. so we mammam damn lot. Didn’t really drink beers coz we were freezing our delicates in the rain and wind. Anyways we walked down to the field where the performers were. OMFG, the whole fucking field was a mudbath. FUCKING MUDDY WEIH. Now……I’m not scared of the mud, but the hell if i’m taking the shuttle back down covered in mud. If I had a room up at the event, i wouldn’t mind wallowing in the mud. but the shuttle bus is a 45 minute ride home ok ? But it was ok, we still had fun jumping around with other ppl in front of the stage. There were only 2 performers we considered really good, this Indian group called Akasha and this other group from Portugal whose names i can’t remember.

So in the whole mob of ppl in the mud, there were a few fellers who took the mud to a new level and started throwing and rubbing it on other ppl. Fuckers look like they were having an acid trip, laughing and acting like crazy monkeys. I think along the night, 1 guy got a fat lip from someone coz i saw his face in a funny position walking to the toilet after getting decked. I mean honestly……please go ahead and have fun, but don’t fucking throw mud at ppl. If ppl wanted to get muddy, they would have done that already.

Man……lots of hot chicks. There was these group of girls with pixie haircuts………OMG….I shall say no more. too many.

But theres one thing about the event i didnt like. It was over commercialized. They had ppl like Xpax, MAS, CoffeeBean, Astro and all the other big labels there. kinda spoils the whole "rainforest" feeling.

They even had a small area for a massage parlour to open !

Event would’ve been alot better but the rain screwed everything up.

So we headed back after the event, took a shower and proceeded to drink fabulous TsingTao beer at RuaiApai, the Iban pub under our BnB.

Next day we decided to wake up late. We then went to makan more Kuching food :) then we headed to Jong’s Croc Farm. I haven’t been there since i was like 10 yrs old. and man… the place has grown. not just in size but in residents. They so many animals. turtles. squirels. eagles. tailess crocs. eyeless crocs. otters. cassowary. macaques. wild boars. barking deers. sunbears. iguanas. owls. Damn cool place. OMG the otters were so cute….at first. when u went up to their cage, they’d run up to u making squeaky noises. we thought they were just friendly. until we realized they were just greedy hungry motherfuckers who wanted to eat all the food u had. and if u stop giving them food, they’d just go fucking mental ! and then they’d all start their otter symphony and make the most annoying noises in the word. at that

point, we all felt like killing and eating everyone of them. oh 1 more cool, thing, the macaques make little children noises. sounds exactly like small kids. imagine if u heard that sound in the forest, u’d shit ur pants. And then we stayed for feeding time :) Fuck… crocs are menancing. I have pics on facebook to prove it. oh and i must mention about Grandfather croc who was caught in 1969 ! holy shit. the mean bastard was huge.

After croc farm, we went to makan. and everyone had seconds. we were so fucking hungry. then we wanted to go to Semenggok Animal Rehab, but…… closed d :( they closed at 4pm. We got there at 430. boohoo.

So we headed back to town to shower and rest. Then my friends joined my family for a HUGE family dinner.

OMG, we were so stuffed. Really chiak beh liau.

Then headed back to town, and walked around to take in the sights. and then as usual, more TsingTao :)

if u haven’t noticed, we really really like TsingTao. Then we wanted to go to eat beef noodles at arnd

3am…. but closed d. boohoo.

Next day, we all woke up a bit late. then headed down to the temple at carpenter street to have the most

awesome pork satay. damn bloody good la. but it was the start of out "sueh/soi" food runs. I ordered a total of 3 times before they remembered. bloody hell. Then we went to buy all the souveniers we wanted to bring back to KL. and we shopped like crazy.

Then we went off to have some last minute food. we had the god awesome char kueh, kolok mee, "white lady", "matterhorn" and other yummies at Tabuan market. Then since got some time to kill… we actually went to play snooker :P So after that sent off a few friends to the airport.

After that went for dinner with 3 good friends. Had Ochien, Fish and veggies. Then at night had emo moments over TsingTao. Many things in life and about myself made more sense to me thanks to my own personal Dr Phil :)

Next morning woke up and checked out damn early, as had alot of important last minute matters i had to settle before i left that afternoon. so the whole day was doing chores. then we went to have laksa at this place where all the ppl who worked there are pondans/ahkuas/tranvestites, call them what u want.

but they were nice fellers la. Some of them actually looked hot, some not so. actually there was one that was nearly flawless. His/Her hands gave her away.

Anyways after that went home and did last minute packing.

Oh…… at the airport, there was this FUCKING KURANG AJAR OLD CHINESE MAN WHO CUTS LINE. FUCKING SON OF A BITCH. HE EVEN CUT ACROSS THIS OLD MAN WHO HAD TROUBLE WALKING DOWN THE STAIRS. FUCKING KURANG

AJAR. I should have taken his picture and put his face here. hope he dies falling down a stairs in the future. I actually told him off, and he was like, then u go and walk ahead laaaaaa. fucking kurang ajar i felt like whacking him. lucky he old man. i still have manners. like him, no bloody manners.

anyways, before u know it, we were back home in KL. was so tired.

But i miss home already. I miss my folks. I miss speaking iban in the mornings. i miss drinking tuak at anytime of day. I miss my TsingTao. I miss somebody i met briefly :P I miss the food. I miss many many things. But most of all, i miss my carefree days in Kuching.

Next year, I’ll be bringing a bigger group to a original longhouse along the banks of the Rejang river for Gawai Celebrations. We should have at least nearly 1 week off work to enjoy Gawai.
From KL, take a 1 hour 40 min flight to Kuching.
From Kuching, take a 40 minute flight/6 hour drive to Sibu.
From Sibu, take a 3 hours express boat ride to Kapit.
From Kapit, take a 1 hour 30 min long boat ride to the Longhouse.

Real Ibans.
Real Authentic food.
Real Experience.

Who’s coming ? :)

p.s. i wonder how many times i mentioned TsingTao…huhuhuhuhu

Hmm… i wonder if it’s going to happen tomorrow.

We shall see………hehehehehe

I’ll be leaving on a jet plane this Thursday for RWMF in Kuching. yippie.

Who wants souveniers ? and no…… women don’t fit in a suitcase………unless u want a midget then maybe la

*still picking up the pieces, but its really hard to put it back together*
