So he’s in town. He’s the only best friend who i barely keep in touch with. But whenever we’re in the same town, it’s as if we were never apart. *sounds so…..wrong when i put it that way*

So we went to eat crab at kepong. so far right just to eat crab ? 4 of us went to makan besar. Nothing so great about the place la. had much better at King Crab KJ.

Then we headed to Friendster cafe, coz it was closest to my brother’s gf’s place and had beers there. so 4 of us chilled there a bit having beers. coincidentally there was a Sweet 16 party going on there. and god…… i feel like a bloody paedophile. 16 yr olds dressed up, and i swear…… they look like hot 18yr old girls. bloody hell. it was a jailbait party.

The a friend called saying she had free tix to this kickboxing/muay thai thingy at Stadium melawati. bloody hell… called when the thing had started. U gundu! why call so late. i like violence. the broken teeth, the cut lip, the oozing blood. oh well…… she said it was pretty good la.

the night ended early la. but it was great seeing my bro again.

*anyone wants homemade essential oil soaps ? RM16.50 only. damn nice*

*p.s. DUN SAY I DIDN’T TRY HELP U PROMOTE AH !*

So the zouk plan fizzled out last night.

But it was all made ok. Met up with some friends in Bangsar at T-Club. OMG, T-Club has been renovated and looks so much better now. So we chilled till around 1045 and rushed to the Gardens as we had bought tickets at Signature to watch Hancock.

So 4 of us went to catch Hancock. Decent movie, but not as……exciting *for lack of a better word* than Wanted. Wanted was better than Hancock, but both are kinda DVD movies. Enjoyable nonetheless ;)

Then we headed off to Aaliyaa to meet up with another bunch and listen to some awesome live music. Lemme tell u, Russell and the Band are damn good. The sing other ppl’s music, but they make it their own. Their rendition of Leaving on a Jet Plane is like….. so……….WOW. So we chilled again and danced and drank and mingled.

But anyways……..i have a damn eye infection. Been wearing my glasses for a few days already. with my specs on, i look like my IQ increased by 30 points :P So it’s saturday today, and a few fellers slept over at my place, and my plans to send the other car for service has gone through an "EPIC FAIL" *gotta do that tomorrow morning and head for breakfast*. So plans for today after all of us wake up, is to 1st things first, get me to a GP so i can get antibiotic eyedrops, then go makan.

*last night, we were all emo after the band finished up with Mungkin Nanti. All emo talk back at my place. SIGH.*

Life recently has been pretty fast paced for me. i haven’t had any alone time by myself to recollect my thoughts. Every night there seems to be some sort of activity going on. I think i will take some time off for myself tonight.

but anyways, the week has progressed very well. On wednesday, had my normal midweeks with a few friends at W.I.P @ BSC, Bangsar. Drank quite a bit, had a few pizza’s. I think there were 9 of us that night. So we stayed and drank till about 1230.

4 of us adjourned off to The Attic to lepak and chill. had cocktails to cap of the night. Made friends with some of the performers, although i found one of them slightly annoying. All in all i really enjoyed wednesday night. Like they always say, it’s the company that matters, not the place. *sigh*

so out of the four, i headed home first since those 3 weren’t working the next day. and they had to gloat in front of me.

so thursday night, went off with colleagues to watch Wanted at GSC Midvalley. Ok…..i can only summarize Wanted in 3 words……"Movie Tipu Nenek". Coz you’d have to be a senile grandmother to actually believe shit like that can happen. But still enjoyable movie la. Not the best, but ok la. Hancock would’ve been much better.

So far so good this week. My mind hasnt had too much time to run around and wander and think of stupid thoughts.

Tomorrow gotta send my other car for the required 5000KM service and lepak at bodega for breakfast while waiting *who wanna join?*. Then at night supposed to head out with some of the girls down to Maison. They wanna shake their booty, i on the other hand want to shake other ppl’s booty. LoL. But tentative la… i think i have an eye infection, so will have to see if that clears up.

Next weekend i’m back to Kuching for the Rainforest World Music Festival with a few friends from KL.

The the weekend after that i’m off to Tioman for diving :)

*sigh* So little time, so much to do.

And yes……I think I’m extremely jaded.

OMFG….
Cherating was fuckin wicked.
It was actually supposed to be a company treasure hunt, but a few of us said, fuck it… lets drive there straight and havoc!

anyways.. we were all supposed to flag off from the company premises at 730am. Unfortunately our driver had a very hazy heavy drinking session the night before. He woke up at 730am :)

and before you know it…. we were on our merry way to Cherating at 930am :) Last team to leave. hehehehehehe

So as we sped to Cherating, we took a quick pitstop aka beerstop at Genting Sempah. Beer never felt so good. 4 people in the car but only 3 of us could drink, as an intoxicated driver is a big NO-NO. But he was still probably high from the night before.

So as we made our way again to our beach destination, we met up with another bunch of friends from the same department at another stop. More beers were opened, more ciggies were smoked :)

We turned off to Kuantan where we had claypot rice at one of the first makan places we saw. Then off to Cherating. So at cherating, the first agenda of the day was………. yes… more beers. and then lepak in the pool.

Then we showed off our dazzling ronaldinho-like beach football skills. damn fun. then in to the sea. then more football. then into the pool. then water-polo.

fucking tired by this point, but the day was still early. we all went up to get ready for a buffet dinner. Dinner was ok la. The food spread was decent, but the deserts sucked.

After dinner, we all grabbed the alcohol and proceeded to the shaded designated drinking area. It was raining on and off that night. We had no music whatsoever.

So as we slowly drank, and played drinking games *mind u… playing drinking games with approximately 20 people from the same department is fuckin’ awesome* our "little drummer boy" got a hold of 2 empty 1.5L coke bottles and started playing a lion-dance beat ! and it was fucking accurate. 2 other fellers decided to be the lion and utilized a towel as the lion.

and so….. the pandemonium began.

Out came all the Tamil songs. In the group there were only 2 non-indians……1 chinese guy *my team driver* and 1 sesat iban guy *namely myself*

Out came our drunk rendition of "We will rock you" fuckin hell we were loud. surprised noone came to shut us up. but then again… a group of rowdy 20 drunk fellers….. who would ? :P

and of course…… since we were by the beach… the closest place to drain the lizard was at the seaside. funny when ur drunk, ur not so worried about peeing at ur feet in seawater and the tide carries it back at u……….

so walkies by the beach. more drinking. more drumming. more singing. and god the singing was funny :)

slowly other departments started joining us, since we the most happening mofo’s in the company. the night eventually ended at around 4am as everyone retired. a few drunk fellers. i was drunk myself.

next day woke up at 10. raced down for breakfast. i was just in time to get breakfast as they were slowly clearing everything away.

Then went by the pool to chit chat with a few fellers. then back in to the sea to chill. and then back into the pool with the other 19 crazy fellers.

by this time, we ran out of alcohol already. and hell we brought quite alot. good thing also la. everyone was dehydrated. waters were more in demand than tigers/heineken/skol/carlsberg/black/chivas. huhuhuhuhuhuhuh

eventually we all checked out by 2pm and headed to Teluk Chempedak to mammam. omg…… i have never seen food finish so fast. total damage on seafood to fill 20 voraciously hungry animals…… RM460. and to sweeten the day….more beers hehehehehe

Kuantan’s quite a nice place actually. very…. kuching-like. Teluk chempedak was pretty cool too. should make a few more visits to the beach in the future.

so we all eventually got back home, tired as hell around 9pm. and looking in to the mirror, i noticed my shoulders and the top half of my chest looked red as a lobster :P heheheh. effects of not bothering to put  sunblock. MACHO LA KONON! hahahahahaha

but fuckin hell…. Cherating was awesome.

To all the fellers who went, i know you all had an absolutely wonderful time, and we should definitely do this again :)

This is a testament, to unplanned nights, with no expectations are always the best ones.

So there was an event at Wine Room @ Heritage Row. So was invited out by dear Losh coz she RSVP’ed for 6 peeps.
Quite a happening night. they had this live band perform. they had some datuk leonard dude who had a damn cool voice. and the DJ’s played good shit all night long.

Of course, in the process we met very pretty Zoe and T :) we shall see how that goes !

Upon arrving at the event, everyone was given a wine glass. by the end of the night we broke 2 on the way next door to Savanh. 1 namely by me, and the other by MoMo.

Damn good night. I now have 2 new phone numbers for me to call huhuhuhuhuhu

So i went for the event at Alliance Francoise.
Pretty good event. A friend of mine was performing that night with his band, Gazzo. And i’m surprised, they sounded really good :P
A few bands were great, but some of them were a complete waste of time ! Some guys all dressed up rasta, looking like they were high on something, couldn’t sing for shit. Hell some of the words werent even audible.
But over all it was ok la.

Hmm i’m hungry now……

Huhuhu

I had a massive BBQ at my poolside last saturday. Why ? a multitude of reasons.

1) I wanted to have a BBQ just because

2) A friend of mine is leaving for Australia to do her Masters.

See……good reasons…. ok la.. maybe just excuses.

It was about 30 ppl strong. Old friends. Work friends. Miscellaneous friends. New friends.

Damn lot of food. Lamb, Lamb perital, chicken varuval, ikan bakar, chicken wings, pasta, junk food, pizza, mash potatoes…. aiyah alot lah.

Drinks were plenty too. 6 crates of beer. 2 bottles of wine. 4 bottles of liquor.

All good fun, but no doubt the neighbours weren’t too happy bout it la. For those of u guys who know where I live, there aren’t that many young ppl in my area. Most aunties and uncles. So i think most of them dread my pool parties :P ah, screw them. it’s not like i have massive pool bbq’s all the damn time anyways.

Man, it was tiring work. Running around mingling, making sure everyone was fed.

But at the end of the night, all my thanks goes out to the ppl who pitched in to clean up. I am eternally grateful for your help. For those who didnt….. well……whatever lah……..

at the end of the day, everything went well la :)

Article taken from voyager8.blogspot.com about the words spoken by former president and CEO of Coca-cola, Brian G Dyson.

"Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some 5 balls in the air. You name them - work, family, health, friends and spirit and you’re keeping all of these in the air.

You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other 4 balls — family, health, friends and spirit — are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same.

You must understand that and strive for balance in your life. How?

  • Don’t undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special.
  • Don’t set your goals by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you.
  • Don’t take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as they were your life, for without them, life is meaningless.
  • Don’t let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or for the future. By living your life one day at a time you live ALL the days of your life.
  • Don’t give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.
  • Don’t be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect. It is this fragile thread that binds us to each together.
  • Don’t be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.
  • Don’t shut love out of your life by saying it’s impossible to find. The quickest way to receive love is to give; the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly, and the best way to keep love is to give it wings.
  • Don’t run though life so fast that you forget not only where you’ve been, but also where you are going.
  • Don’t forget, a person’s greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated.
  • Don’t be afraid to learn. Knowledge is weightless, a treasure you can always carry easily.
  • Don’t use time or words carelessly. Neither can be retrieved.

Life is not a race, but a journey to be savoured each step of the way. Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery and Today is a gift: that’s why we call it - The Present."

==============================================================

I just wanted to share this article with all of you. As for myself, I think I’ve scuffed many many "balls of life". Some may have already been broken. And if any of those broken ones read this blog, I truly am sorry. I’ve always been a workaholic and I probably have neglected people.

*sigh*

it’s so much sacrifice when you strive to reach for fame, glory and your own ideals. If all goes well, I will reach that target by the end of this year. If that works out, this blog will be one of the first to know.
